For some reason, I thought of you as a fairly rational and objective person even though I disagreed with you. You last comment makes me want to rethink that.
There are many reasons for King Gyanendra's downfall and one important reason was arrogance, high-handedness and the failure to move with the times (both at a personal level and amongst those around him). The same reasons why the Panchayat fell all those years ago and why the King , Koiralas and Congress have fallen now. I am willing to bet a buck the Maosist will fall the same way too and contrary to popular opinion that day might not be too far away.
