Here is an impromptu work. I might regret I wrote it.

 

Kiss

 

I did not kiss you

Like I used to-

Kiss them,

Without knowing

What it is

And what it was for

 

(You know what

They used to call it

A pure kiss

And I never understood

What that means)

 

I kissed you

In a full awareness of

What it is

In a full awareness of

What I want

In a full awareness of

How much tears

How much sighes

How much overcoming

How much hope

How much wish

How much anticipation

How much risk

I put in it

 

(And you know what

They call it

A fake kiss

They say

A pure kiss is somehow else

To somebody else

For something else.

Is that true ?)

 

This morning

I got a letter

From someone

Who introduced himself

As an anonymous lover

From an anonymous city

 

There were two lines

In a beautiful handwriting

‘You’re beautiful.

You deserve better’

 

I said to myself-

‘Yes, I know’

And I tore the letter.

 

Then I asked you to kiss me.
