After downloaded a software or program from net to my dekstop,I couldn`t install to Ubunto OS.It seems it needs dev package....How can I solve the problem.Plz give me idea.Thanx....


When I double click the downloaded program,no installation starts.It shows the location of the file.I did like in windows.Recently,I have installed  Ubuntu in my laptop.So,I would to  make it more attractive  installing some additional softwares.I am new to Ubuntu.Thank you
