Dear Mitra haru. As far as I know that GLOF is not new agenda for Nepal, CIDA/JICA has invested millions of dollors since last more two decades via WECS. WECS had also GLOF unit, it had been only engaged to award consultacny jobs for GLOF research and development, dorzon of geologists had been working on GLOF and producting glossy fancy reports. It is just a slogan for collectiong dollars and producting reports not for practical solution. Many people enjoyed summer capms in that area by renting costly helicopter. No one is committed to solve the GLOF problem. Let them suffer poor peple those who have been living downstream. I do know that GLOF gang is promoting propoganda for collecting money for their own individual well being in the name of GLOF. Raib Sharma
