पाब्लो बुडाले गजल लेख्दा हुन् त कस्तो हुँदो हो भनेर सोच्छु क्या म ।

छन्दमा लेखिने Sonnet लेख्ने बुडाले पक्कै रुचाउँथे होला गजल शैलीलाई, तर वर्णनात्मक कविता लेख्न अभ्यस्तहरुलाई सारांशात्मक शेरहरु लेख्न सजिलो पक्कै हुँदैन ।

अनि तपाईले घच्चीको कविता छान्नु भएछ । पाब्लोको विशेषता जे सुनेको छु मैले (एउटा चाही मायिक भाषा) त्यसको राम्रो प्रतिनिधित्व भएको कविता मानिछु यसलाई ।

मायिकै (magical) हो गाँठे यी पंक्ति त,

I hunt for the liquid measure of your steps.

your hands the color of a savage harvest,

I want to eat your skin like a whole almond.

I want to eat the sunbeam flaring in your lovely body,

the sovereign nose of your arrogant face,

I want to eat the fleeting shade of your lashes,

and I pace around hungry, sniffing the twilight,

hunting for you, for your hot heart,

like a puma in the barrens of Quitratue.

लौ न कसैले अनुवाद गरम् यसलाई । डुबेर गर्नुपर्ने परेछ यो । बिग्रला भनेर छुनै मन नलाग्ने ।
