NUWAKOT, April 14 - Nepali Congress leader and Finance Minister Dr Ram Saran Mahat was attacked in Nuwakot on Monday only a day after he was elected for the Constituent Assembly from Nuwakot district constituency-2.

Maoist cadres allegedly assaulted the NC leader, who has sustained injuries in his head in the attack.
