Few vote boxes have been burnt at Khahare, the town centre for northen part of the district. The boxes were brought from Gumdi, Darkha and Satyadevi VDC. The boxes were placed at Khahare Police station.

NC candidate, DILMAN PAKHRIN the favorite because of his ethnic origin, have been realsed from YCLs command. He was taken into hostess by YCL cadres at Kimtang Fedi of Darkha VDC. He is now safe at district headquarter.

Dhading 1 was supposed to have very good competation between Dilman Pakhrin, the son of NC vetran Daman Pakhrin, Ram Hari Adhikari the ex-parlamenterian, and Puspa Bikram Malla, the Maoist tactical head. Pakhrin is favorite as the constituency consists mainly of Tamang and Ghalay, whch he belongs to.
