04/10/2008: USCIS Releases Preliminary Numbers of H-1B Cap Filings
- Total: Nearly 163,000
- U.S. Master Degree Cases: More than 31,200 (Out of above total).
- USCIS expects that it will conduct the computer generated random selection process, beginning with the selection of the 20,000 petitions under the advanced degree exemption.
