Chana bro,
Interesting piece. I guess we wont have good'ole healthy discusion which we had in the last time:p. You have picked your person but something we, I think, is grasp by very few people is that Constitution assembly is not an election of an individual, it is the battle of ideology.
So i think, it would fair to pick the parties rather than politician this time. Btw, bingo on Gopal Khumbu thing.
As far as my opinion:
There are three major parties who would probably get around equal number of vote. ( i may be utterly wrong)
Nepali Congress: Good Old party with even older leaders.
Though I consider my democrat and beleive in free society and economy, I dont like the system which they put forward. We need direct election for every political post. So no Nepali COngress.
CPN-M= They have to practice as a good multi party practioner for couple of years to attract a democrat like me.
CPN-UML: This is a tough choice. I never believed in this party but this time if we dont want NC or CPN-M, then we have no other option. But I dont want MKN as the first president. Also, I would vote for them as I don't find any other option, where as I still think "comunist manifesto" is the greatest specious book in the millenium.
RPP-Nepal: Perhaps a good party for all those King loving folks. But I think, it is time to bid him the adieus.
All Terai Parties: I have no idea how much reach they have in the public. But this is a fact that NC would be the biggest loser.
I am from KTM no 7. So Rajendra Shrestha(I guess) would get my vote.
Also, I dont think any party would get majority this time. So GPK has the highest probability of being the first president of Nepal.
Nepe bro: Last thread ma reply gareko thiyina. ... chalfal bhai nai rakhla, ki kaso??
