I have a tourist visa to the US that was issued last june. I had planned to travel to US last september but couldn't. I am planning to go there in a few months. Does anybody know if I have to go to the US consulate and get re-stamped? I have heard that you have to use the visa within six months of the issue date. Is this true?

Any info on this will be highly appreciated.
