Well said, my friend. Everything in life has its pros and cons. With women coming to forefront and men taking the back bench, society is loosing its grip on social values. There seems to be general deteriotion. Not only in Nepal but in a number of countries. You say 'modern Nepal' but really, is it modern? Modern is in terms of buildings or education or employment opportunities or thinking? But when both genders qualify as income earners, its good for the family and ultimately for the society.

And as for blessings, who else can give blessings if not Matha, Pitha, Guru and Daivam.
