Pilots come in different shape and size & have different kinds. Some of the kinds are mentioned below:
Rotor pilot
Glider pilot
Balloon pilot
Fixed-wing pilot
Shuttle pilot
Fighter pilot
Airline pilot.
All these kinds are entirely dissimilar, yet to the common eye they are indistinguishable. Each comes with their own training package, rules, criteria, set of discipline and career.
Which kind are we talking of, in this thread?
Now, coming to the MI-17 accident(May the departed souls
rest in peace +May god keep those pilots spirit away from this thread ),
obviously it’s sad to hear of any accident, but accidents aren’t rare. It’s
just the 3rd month of 2008 and already 30(could be more but not
less, I just counted it casually) aircraft accidents have been reported
globally. Now to say each of those pilots involved were incapable,
inexperienced, would not be wise.
Though I’ll have to admit most of the time it’s the case, but, pilot error is not the only prerequisite for an aircraft accident to take place.
BTW, vname, where does that pilot who smokes ganja while flying, fly? I 'm gonna pack bags and head for it!! :D
