What is wrong with setting goals?   I think all parties should do that.  Let us hear what they envision for the future of the country.  But then go a step further and describe how they plan to get there (where it intends to get the necessary resources, how it intends to build collaborations, etc.). 

I'd rather vote for a party that describes clearly a coherent long term plan and how it intends to get there, than for a party that runs on contradictory empty rhetoric of a few leaders.
