Man ! that was a very beautiful song(the first one) even though I didn't understand it. I can sift through the song and can associate the poverty and inequality as pervasive to the whole Nepal and not only to Madhesh.
Being a proud Nepali, the saga narrated in the video touches me. However, I feel dejected that to depict it as a problem of Madheshi and to blame squarely on Pahadis is injustice and a callous statement.
Poverty is omni-present in Nepal, it has treated Pahade and Madhese equally. Unfortunately, I have to admit that people of hill-origin have dominated the establishment and have perpetrated the social injustice against Madhesis.
Think 'two wrongs don't make a right'. Now we are trying to make it right. We are naive yet sheepish. Let the conscience judge rather the heart. Propaganda are all afloat to segregate us.
I just can't help mentioning the fncking politicians. Their game is to win at any cost whatever be the consequence. At this moment we need to do some soul-searching and act wisely.
Folks, don't be brash and write foul and bad things. Stop the name-calling and act maturely. The last think I can envisage is the finger-pointing among ourselves.
Jai Nepal
