10% of black men between ages 18-29 is currently in prison, a vast majority being incarcerated for violent crimes.

In the class of 2002, only 56% of African-American students graduated from high school and only 43 percent of the 23 percent highschool graduates attending college actually graduate. (manhattaninstitute.org)
They are 10% of the US population but 66% of the US prison population.
Constitute the minority with the highest rate of dependency on welfare.
Murdered a nepali student in Texas who was 2 months away from graduation last year.
