Geda_Gudi; You are right; you can e-file federal free of cost if your income is
less than 54000. But you can not do state tax together which is more
in-convenient. But it may be worth of trying to save $10 and see if you can
e-file free of cost from you state revenue department web site or use other tax
software.
It is always advised to go to your state revenue department site and most of
them have collaborated or alliance with tax software which will provide free of state
filing along with federal if you qualify. So check you STATE revenue web site first to check if you
qualify.( if you qualify for Earned Income you will be qualified for both)
