yeah it was SC for god's sake, but if you have given a closer look at the result, out of the total democrat voters, 61% were FEMALE and 39% male. just goes to show how obama is gaining in momentum among women voters (black or white) which is a good sign for him.
secondly, about 1/3rd WHITE voters voted for him. now that many whites from SC voting for a black candidate, to me, is quite a feat for Obama. it shows how american minds have started thinking beyond color for a change they've been looking for. and also inly 14% of the voters were below 30 which means there are not just fresh college graduates and young voters that are rooting for him.
