Sujata jee,

I have been wanting to write you for a long time but today, I could not wait anymore.

BTW, congratulations on you appointment for the post of a minister without portfolio and you will be looking after the office of your Prime Minister dad. The spot light you got, did not draw array of mixed reactions. Those who opposed did not carry any significance. But, your political foes must have gotten scared, as your dad took out a list of ministers from his grey coat at the premises of Singha Durbar with your name. This brought  you  one step closer to your dream of becoming a Prime Minister of Nepal and carry the legacy of Koirala clan. I also learnt that you are in the third position in the chain of command of the Nepali Congress Party. This must have put you in lots of pressure to command, control and contribute to the Congress party. In the past, you have been accused and associated with the scandals of Lauda, Dhamija, sandlewood and now the proposed selling of historical Nepalese Embassy in London recently to steel giant  Laxmi Mittal. To strengthen your leadership and increase grasp within the party, you will definitely need more resources and financial backings, so you will be getting very seriously involved in ways to raise more money. This may lead you to more moral and immoral issues. Since there are no questions of accountability rising within or outside of the party, and as long as you contribute to the welfare of the party, you will be all fine. You have the capability to annihilate who go against you. You have been an international relation specialist, a central committee member and a nominated member of the parliament of the party. You will get away easily as previous who were considered defaulters but came out clean from the judiciary. You will be appointing those judges.  After all, even Girija Babu set us with examples of printing fake money to run the party. I had been reminding myself constantly that there is no clean and fiscally responsible political party with any tinted records. So what ever you do or did, you should be all fine. Just make sure that you keep your shopping sprees hidden from the public eyes.

Actually, I am pretty surprised not to hear that much of or any opposition on you appointment to the minister ship.  Now you have a big ship to navigate. The so called intelligentsias, opposition political parties, civil societies and oppositions within your own congress party were all quiet. Girija Babu, with his skills and management with surgical precisions (and, of course, your diligence to make him listen to you), must have dissected their barking tongues out. A nicely done piece of work like art !!  But yet the danger does not stop there and will keep on lingering as your oppositions might try to make this an issue during elections (If at all it takes place). What a grand design !!

I do know how good a Prime Minister you would be! After all, people from Nepal have never chosen a PM with developmental agenda, social justice or someome raise the living standard of common Nepali, so you are not be any different than others. For you to come to power, you need more heads not the contents, which you have been working on. I am sure you are bringing in more heads that nod to your commands and clap to your speeches. Knowing you from the surface, you will do very well to yourself and your supporters when (if- is not the word of choice) you become a Prime Minister. Regarding the development of Nepal, it will take its natural course. Who has been serious about that up to now?  After all who has become a PM of Nepal who has vision and with agenda to develop, and plan for the future? As in the past, you should be just fine with what ever capabilities you have.

In the mean time, from now onwards, I would like to document your daily activities, your great speeches, thoughts and your personal achievement as archives (yet unauthorized documentation) until you become a Prime Minister of Nepal.

At the end, I would like to remind you that I am not associated with any political parties, but as a citizen of Nepal, I am interested in developing events and every day happening.

Please do not take this as a way to impress you.

Yours,

Shirish

I beg your pardon for some of the inaccuracies.

NB: I will be ridiculed if you don't become a PM of Nepal, please work hard to become one.
