Kathmandu, Jan. 9: Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that some news that are carried today by some daily newspapers, publishing from Kathmandu, citing Minister for Foreign Affairs in reference to Nepal-India border problems, which have been raised in different committees of the parliament, are found confusing and they have drawn attention of the Ministry.

In today's issue of national daily Rajdhani, an incorrect news under the headline 'Sustama Sena Awashyak' (Force is needed in Susta), has been publised stating that Minister for Foreign Affairs said there was a situation in which police and army should be mobilised for security," it is stated in a press statement issued here today by the Ministry, adding that This is not the fact and the Ministry expresses serious objection to the news."

Minister for Foreign Affairs had informed that she had put the matters relating to the demand of residents of Susta for the presence of state in their area in the meeting of Council of Ministers and discussion has been taking place in the Council of Minister in this regards," states the Ministry adding that ?publishing news by exaggerating the issues that have not been told would create confusion and may put adverse effect on cordial relations existing between the two friendly neighboring countries."

The news published today by 'Naya Patrika' stating that Minister for Foreign Affairs used the words "अतिक्रमण नभन्नु, भारत रिसाउंछ" (don't say encroachment India becomes angry) in yesterday's meeting of parliamentary Agriculture and Cooperative Committee on the issue of Nepal - India border is incorrect," the Ministry has stated and added "Ministry of Foreign Affairs fully refutes the news."

The Ministry has appealed all concerned parties to create their articles on sensitive issues cautiously, stating that efforts have been made at top political level and diplomatic sector to find appropriate resolution of Nepal - India border issue.
