Sounds tough.  Sorry to hear about your situation, my friend.  Here's a plan:

1. Look for relatively cheap universities, eg: Fairmont State in WV, St. Cloud in MN, etc.

2. Apply there and get accepted for Fall of 2008

3. Start networking now to work in Ocean City this summer.  I know lot of people work like crazy (90 or 100 hours a week) the whole summer there and make enough to pay for both semesters plus some decent amount to live on.

Fact is, you have to do something.  Don't get depressed and do nothing.  There is always a way, always...
