I agree that Minister Yadav's remark and action made me think, I may not know the exact reason why he did it but it has helped me to think.

I would like to request you to think beyond the box. Let me give you an example.
->I was in India for 6 years, every state i went their official forms( i know only rail reservation and tax form) were on 2 language. In Tamilnadu its (Tamil and English)/West Bengal its (Bengali/English), in Delhi (Hindi/English) and so on.
->And here in US also while applying for SSN I saw two forms (English and Spanish).

You can argue, Nepal is not a Federal as INDIA or unlike US where English is most speaking language. For Nepal the problem is little complex, cause we are not Federal plus we have many languages.

Let me take you back to our History, not very far not at Rana's era(it is no surprise that only in 1905 NEPALI became official language, before that?? think about it??). In Mid 1990s' around 1997/98 Kathmandu Municipality and Janakpur Municipality wanted to make 2 official administrative language(Nepali + regional language). But in 1999 Supreme Court went against the verdict and that day is known as BLACK DAY. We are not saying accept the use of NEPAL BASHA, MAITHALI  or any other language at the Central government level. But We should get recognized at our regional level. I feel there is no harm having 2 administrative language at regional level.

This is not the act of disintegration, this is an integration act, by recognizing somebody's culture or language you  accept its existence and can live in harmony. If you accept the existence you don't throw bricks you throw respects among one another.

But recognition of language is a long battle.
