Yes unlocked GSM phone works in Nepal but it has to be of right type.GSM 900 bandwidth is for Nepal and most of the Asian country. So you have to make sure the GSM phone is tri or Quad band .
Also it needs a reset or something which will cost rs50 and can be done in any cell phone repair shop in KTM.
