Wanted to hear from you all the nostalgia of Radio Nepal that we've been hearing since we were kid..This was from eighties way before when TV started  ....No FMs whatsoever....Here is how the day used to start with Radio Nepal

From 6:00 am -7:00am Dharmik karyakram...with melodious bhazans like...om jayajagadish hare, Bhasma dalera sambho timile (one of my fav), and lot more that i can't remember on top of my head now

7:00: tunt tunt tunt tnuuuuu....Yo samya muna chiya ko samaya ho...

Followed by, Sahitya Sansar by Yagya Nidhi Dahal....loved that guys hosting

8:00 News in english...followed by songs and commercials...They used to play Prahari Karyakram which i used to listen to when getting ready for school when i was in 3-4th grade...

Afternoon was full of aadhunik geet karyakram.....--Because of which whenever i hear some aadhunik geet even today like one of Arun Thapa's 'Jati Maya laye Pani...it reminds me of tthose afternoons 'Chiya khane bela'...

Evening used to start with 'Baal Karyakram'.....Pandav dai's...awoo mera pyra pyra bhai bahini ho radio najik awoo....and chunu munu chunu munu gardai aii...

I don't know anyone recall or not...they used to play a radio series called 'Saanjh Bihaan' which used to come around 6ish in the evening.....i including all of our family member were so fond of it. We used to gather around our radio to listen and will be waiting for the following eve to come to hear what will happen next

followed by khelkud karyakram by Gopal Basnyat.."kheladi hun kheladi hun..ma dov chamkane..".and so on and the day used to end with 'Shree man gambhira Nepali 'at 11Pm and jhyarr jhurr ...no signal after that...

Sanibaar used to be fun with Pandav dais' phone in karyakram and 'Ek baje ko Natak'...and geeti kaatha...

Sathi bhai ho....please add your memories from Radio Nepal from those days...

Add more to it whatever i haven't included ....whatever u remember from those days...
