That's so nice of your hajurama. But I presume you are willing to learn if you have time right? I had some friends, even though ethnically they were non Nepali, they were so willing to learn the language. And everytime they see me they will greet me by saying "Namaste" and "Bhat khayou?". It was so funny! Some of them were able to write few Nepali words as well.
