Something to ponder upon

Why are we ( all Nepalese, myself included ) so hypocritical when "English" or anything to related to it is concerned? I mean, there are tons of us in here who were lucky enough to have a schooling background that was based on English language but there are more people who were unfortunate not to attend an English-medium school. As such, why do some people get the urge to express their opinions in English even when they clearly know that their command over the English language isn't so good?

Take phalano.com. Rajesh KC does a brilliant job of bringing these picturesque natural wonders across Nepal and understandably, everyone appreciates his work. However, I've noticed that when people try to acknowledge his efforts, they seem to find some massive "urge" to use English instead of using plain ol' simple Nepali and in doing so, they end up making some embarrassing comments. It truly does embarrass me a great deal when I see someone tries to put an effort onto something which he's better off not putting any effort whatsoever. Please note, I'm not trying to imply that I've perfected "English" myself, still, wouldn't we be better off opting to use the language that we're fluent in rather than the language that we're less fluent in, depending upon the situation? मैले भन्न खोजेको, अङ्रेजी म भन्दा नेपाली राम्रो सँग लेख्न औन्छ भन्ने जाँदा जादैइ, अङ्रेजी नै प्रयोग गर्नु पर्ने कीन?

Your thoughts?!

P.S. Just go through the comments and you be the judge.
