Well this could be another possible reasoning by the Maoists . Whatsoever, I liked the latest act of beating  the tourist. That's the showmanship. Also considering the punishment by Maoists meted out on general public, they are still discriminating. Why they don't kill one or two tourists too so that everyone is genuinely convinced that they are the proponents of equality. Good going guys.
