sumoff,
everytime i read you i find myself comparing you with published writers? 'Is sumoff too this good?' 'Are his words well chosen?' 'Is he authentic always?' 'Does he sketch the characters well?'  'Could sumoff too write like vikram seth?'

with this story, i know one thing for sure. It doesnt matter. Month after month and now year after year, I have eagerly waited for your stories. And once I start, your stories keep me riveted. I dont know one other writer who writes like you.  You have your own style. It is inevitable too that you will be published. You once put forth an argument that to be published one had to be more ambitious than you are. .....

......To keep on writing, and turning out stories upon stories upon good stories and each one of them distinctly different from the other and especially this one, 26 pages long. That my friend is DISCIPLINED ambition and you have got it.

I should also take this opportunity to thank you too for keeping on writing on sajha. As I was reading this story. your deleting the story somewhat became clear to me. Because you were not sure what you were posting in sajha for? But I know i speak for myself and many others when I say that, you are more talked about than you can ever imagine. You are talked about in my friend and family circle. And whenever you put a story up we are like,'yespali ko sumoff padhya ho?' But your 'tantrums' (for lack of a better word) get talked about too, 'sumoff padhna khojeko, delete gardisakecha'..... which you could do without.

Just one question though, 'How did a mother like Kirti raise a son like Sunil?'
