Nepali documentary receives an American Award

Directed by two young people, the documentary "A Tragedy for the Liberty" has been awarded at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival 2007. The directors, Subash Thapa Magar and Anjana Bidhathoki have received the "Best International Documentary Directors Award" for the documentary.

The award has become a lifetime memorable and surprising achievement for 21 years old Subash and 20 years old Anjana.

According to Manager of the documentary Production House, Cat's Eye Media Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Prasun Thapa Magar, "They were honored at the award ceremony organized in New York on 2nd November.

The documentary portrays the pain and sorrows of Nepal's 19 days revolution in 2062/63.

The Non residential Nepalese in America have also honored these young directors for their effort.
