Recently in a beauty contest organized at Kettwig city in Germany, Miss Prapti Ghimire has won the “Miss Kettwig 2007” title. Among the 21 beautiful and talented participants, Prapti Ghimire, contestant no.5 was successful in wining the Miss Kettwig title. According to source, while honoring Miss Prapti with the title, the Mayor of the Kettwig city said, “The competition was really tough and it was difficult for the judges to select the winner as all the 21 contestants were very talented.”

Miss Kettwig 2007, Prapti Ghimire is the daughter of Pancha Ghimire and Anju Ghimire. Prapti was born in Bhaktapur, Nepal and has been living in Germany for fifteen years with her parents. They are running an Italian restaurant at Kettwig city in Germany.

A hardworking and talented 10th grade student Prapti, shares her success with her parents and her 10 years old younger sister Aashma Ghimire who inspired her to participate in the beauty contest. Miss Kettwig 2007, Prapti has introduced Nepal in Germany and allowed Germans to know more about Nepal; not only as the country of Himalayas, but as the birth place of beautiful and talented women like her. Prapti aspires to become a doctor and a social worker in the future.
