hey guys i got this project to do.... can any body help me what kind of routers is needed. i tried in cisco's website..but got lost..

Denver

The main office has six 100Base-TX LANs and two Token Ring LANs for a total of 8 broadcast domains. Also we have now a Teleconferencing system OR a PBX system to think about - you choose one and then see St. Louis North West below for more. The company wants to protect its network from the bad guys and also have solutions in place for viruses, etc.

St. Louis South

This office has one network with 20 users, 10 of which are chemical engineers and 10 are chemists. Typically the engineers and chemists work on separate projects. The engineers usually transmit large graphic files. The company is interested in improving the performance for all users at this location. However they only need a connection to Denver once in a while and at a speed of around 100 Kbps.

St. Louis West

Four 100Base-T LANs at this site must be interconnected (4 broadcast domains). They also need a connection to Denver. The connection will be used about 6 hours per day. Preliminary calculations indicate that a line speed of ca. 35 Mbps would suffice.

St. Louis North West

This site has two 100Base-T LANs (2 broadcast domains). It also has a Teleconferencing system OR a PBX system (you choose the same one as you did for Denver). Both the LAN and other system must be connected to the LANs and "other" system in Denver. The connection will be active about seven hours per day and the bandwidth needed for both systems is ca. 1.4 Mbps, i.e. they share 1.4 Mbps.

St. Louis North East

This site has one 100Base-T LAN with two hubs currently. There are 20 workstations, a file server, and a database server. The site needs a connection to Denver (speed around 36 Mbps) plus it needs to improve the performance of all devices, especially the two servers. In addition, they need computers to lease IP addresses and to resolve host names to IP addresses (two boxes have already been purchased for these needs but have not been configured to perform these tasks).
