I have been one of the biggest fan of Prashant in US. So, I certainly was excited to hear Prashant coming to USA and about his DC concert. The earlier notice for his Baltimore/DC concert was for Dec 2, but now I saw the program is scheduled for Dec 1, which is locally organized by Vishwa Sandesh and NPPA (Nepa Pasa Pucha Americaye). The disappointing information is that there is an another program scheduled on the same day same time Dec 1 evening at 5 PM onward, which was fixed almost 3 months ago by NOA (Newah Organization of America). The schedule and timing overlaps totally such that it is almost impossible to attend both program.  Everybody knows NOA program was fixed much earlier but still such an overlap could be avoided through communication.  Prashant has his schedule open for both Dec 1 and Dec 2 in Boston and Washington DC among nepalese community, my guess is that the event organizer might have flexibility to avoid such conflict. Even if, Prashant's schedule is tight, the local organizors could have co-operated with each other for possible date or time shift. The way they have colloided the program clearly shows that this event is a fight in between these local organizors.  I don't like Prashant Tamang's name to be associated there. It is a great unfortunate that because of some minor weakness in event arrangement, audience are going to be divided in two different programs. It is so sad. And because of this, it is sure that a considerable large mass in DC metro area are going to lose the chance of having entertained with our rising star Prashant Tamang.
