Cricket: Nepal defeated Oman in last ball
Though Nepal registered a thrilling one-run victory over Oman in the on-going Twenty-20 ACC Cricket Tournament Hubara, Kuwait Wednesday, it was not through to the semifinals.
After winning toss, Oman elected to bowl first and restricted Nepal to 140 runs in the twenty overs.
Mehboob Alam contributed 41 runs while Shakti Gauchan added 17 runs to the Nepali total while Paresh Lohani, Gyanendra Malla and Paras Khadka scored 16 each.
Nepal set the target of 141 runs losing eight wickets.
It was all out at 139 runs- close to victory.
Paras Khadka was declared the man of the match in the match.
Nepal suffered its second defeat as Afghanistan registered a six-wicket victory in the tournament Tuesday.
