My condolences and sympathies go to Shah's family and friends.
The chain of killings by maoists and terai rebels should be STOPPED without any condition. There is nothing valuable than a human life. All culprit associated with any killings of 13000 nepalese should be dragged to the court. Our court system should also adopt death by hanging as supreme punishment rather than life imprisonment. Life imprisonment was supreme punishment considering no ones in Nepal had any kind of baltin bomb or pressure cooker bomb or mines, only few people had guns. Most of the times if we heard someone's died then traffic accident used be the most likely cause.
Now abduction and extortion, followed by killings, have been very common. There is no security for anyone and anyone could be killed anytime.. and nobody will come and protect you. That is the most likely scenario of our nation at present.
On top of all these issues, we have also accepted Maoist to rule on us.
I do not know what more should we expect from Maoist or any other terai rebels?
I cannot even expect Nepali government to go after all the leaders of political parties that are involved in killings because we are being ruled by one of such political parties that has been involved in the massive killings in the history of Nepal and their chain of killings has not stopped yet. Killing of Birendra Shah is just another example.
We should not be surprised to see our nepali government being immune to the voices for the peace since they are all seem to take the advantage of being in the government. And those mentalities will grow stronger every day as long as we all nepalese live under the fear of killings and the condition remains chaotic. I do not think political deadlock is because of declaring or not declaring nepal as republic nation. That will make no difference. It is almost the same as changing nepal's name to Lapen. The main issue is to unite the nepalese and stop the killings and develop a new political culture of solving problems by peacefully without affecting normal life of people of nepal. And supreme punishment to all those involved in killings which means we are asking too much from them. I am very pessimist looking at how political scenario is growing in Nepal and what type of culture they have established by shedding the blood of 13000 nepalese. No wonders why there are bunch of terai rebel parties adopting the same culture.
These political creepy animals can come out of the jail anytime reverting court's decision every time our government changes. Hence, they must be HANGED.
