Although King Gyanendra has attained a tragic character of classic stature and life as a punishment does depict him, the imagery in  poem is used for a quite opposite depiction of still suffering and struggling Nepali people.

And discovering Manu Manjil as such an amazing poet was a real pleasure and a respite. You know, I was almost giving up after our national anthem came out. I was hoping for an unusually beautiful song and there it was, a so so song with poetic elements so lacking, considering the anthem was selected from 1272 submissions !

Anyway, as I said, discovering Manu was a relief and I look forward to reading him more as well as discovering many more poetic talents of Nepal.
