you can feel the sense of detachment with  place, country, time, milieu, even friends (may be!)....but no one can be surrounded with the wall that can not be broken down by  selfless love of family...com'on...unless someone is dead inside. But your hero seems to send money home....which means he is fully aware of his responsibilities. And he seems to scrutinize his condition with his dad's...which again exposes taht he is not DEVOID of any feelings, so i really do feel it is dramatized. I felt sad after reading this....but that kind of sadness which does not invoke any yearnings for any sweetness. this is just bland, painful sadness.

Please do not take it personnaly. I am just analyzing Nishesh....not you really.

I personnaly think, you are great in light writing....like your and sweety's emotional depictions...etc.
