From the king to the ultra Maoists and all sorts of communists as well as so many congressis seem to dislike Girija so badly, but it is a sad plight for them that they have to carry on with the Girija inevitable factor.
The king dislikes him so much because he is heading the republican movement, the Maoists and other ultra communists dislike him because they see him speaking soft for the Palace and holds his cards still close to his chest and the congressis hate him he loves the family and nepotist coterie . But the international community favours him because there is no credible  alternative leader to stand in his place who can be trusted upon for his commitment on the democratic principle. This is the basic truth and the rest is hogwash.
Nobody believes and no proof will ever come up to support the claim that Girija owns billions by siphoning off the state treasury. The accusations and counter accusations of corruption in south Asian politics is guided by the outdated  Shakespearean revenge motive and that is all. All are corrupt and sadly nobody will ever be prosecuted ! But the truth in Nepali politics is that in the present Nepal the basic right to life and livelihood has been ruptured and destroyed from the core due mainly to the decade long ultra communist bloodshed and its begotten offspring.If the EU is ever prepared to investigate, they will first investigate the instigation of Nepali genocide in the name of revolution rather than on Girija and corruption. Corruption in South Asia is a political theme. Look at Benzir vs Nawaz Sarif , Sheikh Hassaina vs Begum Khaleda , Lalu vs Nitis, Jayalalita vs Karuna and what not sagas.
So better bring a better topic than this to shun Girija if you want his downfall. No EU politicians will ever venture to land his footsteps into this land mine infested territory of underdeveloped world.
