Milan Lama (32), a dreaded figure among doctors and businessmen in Nepal, was nabbed from Ranjit Nagar area yesterday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Alok Kumar told reporters here.

Their modus operandi is that Lama would make calls to the businessmen and affluent persons in India and Nepal through PCOs while his associates Thapa, Karki, Kedar and Ganesh Lama collected the money. “Karki and Akash are the sharp shooters of the gang,” added Kumar. Lama was leading a lavish life and used to travel to Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore and other countries.
