I couldn't resist writing in this thread.

Regarding the update news from home country, Nepalese abroad were relying on mysansar.com. The bolg portrayed Jana Andolon - II well and Nepalese abroad were supporting Umesh with hardly earned dollars, thinking that he would do justice to his journalism in the days ahead. The bolg gained popularity and all were thinking that at least there is a blog providing the updates which any other internet based Nepali news couldn’t provide. Unfortunately, Umesh (I doubt if he is a journalist, what journalism degree he has??) turned out 180 degrees and kept loosing valuable writers/commentators for the readers.

After reading this thread, it seems that dollars went to wrong hand and been used for wrong purpose. It’s quite visible that mysansar is a maobadi blog and Umesh is a maoist. Of course we don't have to do anything with his personal blog (after pouring money, is it his personal?) and his support towards maoism. BUT, who else wants to go there and read all cheap and nonsense stuffs in support of maoists? Definitely Umesh has some prominent maoist visitors/writers/commentators, but the blog is loosing its charm. Some very good writers/analysts stopped writing there, which is a loss for visitors/readers.

In contrary, this sajha.com is the most popular site/blog for Nepalese abroad which is providing a forum for all and obviously, is a popular site/blog for them. So far I know San dai has never deleted any topics and comments (deleted/banned some objectionable pictures and IDs though).

Let’s wish we will have a blog like sajha back in Nepal too. There are lots of blogs and flourishing journalists in Nepal. Let’s find out some blog to rely on and to pour the dollars on for some cause. Its time for change, time to say goodbye to mysansar.com.
