.I think Maya and her brother are a "combined" superpower. Like "ying-yang". Maya is the evil side and her brother is the good side. They themselves are not evil or good, but their powers are distributed that way. The story of Peter and Takero Kensei are the main story arcs of this season. So, they are not going to show us immediately what happened to Peter. They will wait until the mid-season to expose the answers. Also, in the second episode, we see that Takero Kensei (the English dude, not duplicate Kensei- Hiro) regenerates his body cells and heals himself. And, according to Heroes, Takero Kensei lived about 400 years ago. Could he be the ancestor of Claire? Because Claire can heal herself too. She must have got that genes from Kensei. Also, anyone noticed that Peter, Claire, Nathan (Claire's biological father), and Claire's biological mother are all a single family. Add to this the fact that Takero Kensei and Claire have the same self-healing superpower, and we can fairly assume that this whole super-heroes evolution has one single ancestor: Takero Kensei. Man, that would make Takero Kensei, like the FATHER of Super-heroes. Awesome! However, in my opinion, there are only 3 good shows on TV now days: Heroes, The Office and Dexter. If anyone asks me, Dexter is my favorite. That show is just way way better than any other shows, period.
