How to solve the political stalemate in Nepal

Neither agree, nor disagree. I see two problem with this possible solution: 1. Maoists want a Republic BEFORE the CA, so they may still oppose to a concurrent referendum on the fate of the monarchy DURING the CA elections. 2. It may be confusing to many voters to have to decide on two crucial issues on the same election. I suggest: Hold a referendum on the fate of the monarchy separately BEFORE the CA elections. This would not only ensure the democratic process of acquiring the Republic status (if it comes to that), but also fulfill Maoists' wish of having a Republic PRIOR to the CA elections. But then again, what if the people do not opt for a Republic (even though I doubt it)? I mean, what of the Maoists? Also, do we have time for that with only about 2 months to the proposed CA elections? खै के, खै के।
