It is a terrible situation in Nepal at the moment. Let's not get swayed by our radical beliefs or extreme views. Let's analyse the situation as a third person. 1. Mao's killed thousands, so they started the killing spree (of their own brothers) and pathetically, to get to the same place where all the other political parties go to without terrorism. One may say state killed too. But let me ask you, if are invoked, you would react right. It is the state mechanish and will do the same no matter who instigates violance. May be some of their views are great but the politics of fear/extortion/abduction, I do not think, goes hand in had to accomplish "democracy". Democracy is the ability where people can express their views without fear and election is held to get to the majority and formulate laws and policies with the results. Look at Mao's, they torture any one that comes against them which makes them coward because they fight with weapons with old and helpless. They bomb, kindergarden! Secondly, they have no guts to take people's referendum on critical issues. They just want handful to decide. Yes, they did decide on "secularism" just like that....but guess what that is not the democratic way of ruling. If the whole country chooses to be African Tribe to jump around the fire, I am okay with it. But to decide and shove it like that is not fair to begin with so please do not praise what changes they brought without referendum. Let's not forget that a country comprises of all kinds of people with wide range of beliefs and supports. Some are violent while some choose not to speak up and fight. Hence, it becomes state's duty to reach those through election and have a true representation of the people while deciding. If you just listen to the loude voices and criminals, just take a sample in the jail cell. Next, Maos know they will lose the election because no one in the right state of mind will support hooligans and terrorists as stated by many governments which comprise of more intellectual brains than you and I. They had enough time to bring about change in the way they think/act and react. They just kept on thinking they are the supreme lords. We are shooting for democracy and I donot think we want another self proclaimed God to rule us by force. 2. Others have their flaws as well. But I apploud any and all in authority who dares to raise voice against rampant hooliganism while he/she can be the target oif the thugs. I hated all the politicians and Rajas in the past but I truely admire Girija for all he has done to show Nepali people what Mao's are truely made up of. If we start to talk about the hearsay, sho tried to sell what to whom, we can fabricate all the stories and incidents. It is true that Giriija is acting as per India but all our political figures look up to India or take a next flight to delhi to make any decison anyway. It is not right, I agree but Girija is not the only one to blame to be dependent. Why did mao's have to draw 12 pts agreement in the presence of India (In India) if they hated to be their dogs so much, Besides, they were all living in India while killing all the innocents in Nepal!!!! Let's not be hippocrats. 3. Let's support those who do not put a gun on our head to make us react their way. Let's shoot for true democracy that prevails with peace and harmony. Let our kids be able to go to kindergarden without a fera of Mao' rolling a greenade into their classroom because by mistake they were singing nursury rhymes when Mao's had closed the city , woops! Most of them are corrupt, let's support them who preach peace and rule without guns. I hope mao change their styles and renounce terrorism, stop torture and we can start supporting them as well.
