He chose voilence instead of peacefully appealing...........he chose guns to bring his point across instead of speech??????......He rode on fear, intimidation and curroption to come to power......and when he declares republic and has all the power he needs to controll the armed forces than you all would regret ever wanting a communist republic........wouldnt it suck to be told how ti live your life all the time???????..........A democratic republic is another thing but a communist lead republic??????? what are you all thinking of.........?? When the King stepped down ...which he could have choosen not to because he had the Army and the armed forces behind him..........why did he give up so easily to the unarmed roudy Nepali protesters led by these same curropt leaders and the maoists...???......you know why because the king said that no more innocent blood shed......no more Nepalese to die...........What do you think Prachanda will do if he had the armed forces under commie republic and the people complained and rallied against his party????...you know verywell what Prachanda and his party is capable of doing...................HECK IF I WERE THE KING I WOULD HAVE ROUNDED UP ALL THESE LEADERS AND KILLED THEM....DECLARE MARSHALL LAW AND CURFUE....WHO EVER DEFIED IT TO BE SHOT AND KILLED AND WHEN THE SITUATION WAS GOOD AND CALMER .........hand the power back to the Nepalese people and jsut be a symbol of UNITY, PEACE, AND TRADITION.........and along with the people of Nepal KIck Indias Butt.......open business links with China, pakistan bangladesh...boycott Indian products and then welcome all the international countries who wants to build hydro palnt projects in Nepal without indian interferrance......JAI NEPAL
