From my understanding, Apple cut the price because of the lackluster sales than what they anticipated. They had certain goals of sales and they didn't meet that expectations. Another theory I have heard is...since Holidays are approaching, Apple doesn't want to miss the oppotunity to have a blockbuster sales of the Iphone.... By the way...I have played with Iphone....It's really nice...But I am a Sprint User and I am way...way...happy with my Treo and Sprint.
