Please give me some tips on this question.

GC holders can remain out side the USA and maintain their GC status as long as they enter USA within a year.
Question: Are GC holders required to stay a certain period of time in the USA before leaving the USA again? Or Can they leave immediately after entering the USA every year and maintain the GC status?
