Suna, I am having the same frustrating experience with this dam company...NIRVANA TEL. Like you said they call in the odd hours and they are very relational tending to establish a business by calling dai, dijju and all. One girl from Nirvana practically begged me to buy the cards from her after I explained to her that I have other alternatives to be in touch with folks back home. If I want to make some charitable contributions, I rather make my contributions to some meaningful non- profit organizations, why should I do that to Nirvana Tel. Malvika, which Bank you work for, that pays you so much money that you pay more taxes than a fellow Nepali who is busting his butt working 10-12 hours a day. Come on be realistic, and quit boasting, I know Bankers are very under paid. How do I know? I worked as a consultant implementing the Software projects for many banks. One thing for sure though, you might have a very attractive title. Having a title, such as President, Vice President or AVP does not mean significantly at the banking center. A branch manager who makes 35000 a year could have a title of Vice president or a head teller making $ 12.00 an hour could be an AVP. I think you are spellbound by your title rather than the amount of money you make.
