I lived in Nepal for 10 years, I am Nepali but did not have Nepali citizenship but there were PLENTY of INDIAN-looking INDIANS who were buying citizenships or had citizenships. HECK...if you go to BIshal Bazar now...you will have to speak in HINDI or MARWARI to get a good price on most things. Come to Darjeeling, once you are in Siliguri...they all better speak Nepali and thats how we live...by our language...our culture...our heritage. If you want to do business in Darjeeling District...you BETTER speak Nepali.
