The important thing is to have a good plan in place and especially a purpose of what exactly he wants to do in Nepal and he has worked on that. Our country needs young people who are capable of driving force in to others, especially that could be expected from a US returned one. I read in a papar how a person returned after 10 years and planted olive trees in Nepal and has exported the best olive oil from the country. That is what i call a vision and purpose and worthiness of returning home. If not, then does it make a difference whether you are working in McDonlad's in Alabama or working at Nabil Bank in Nepal ? it is almost the same thing.
