hey sedif, I think political situation is not gonna effect that much. the only thing you have to make sure is you apply as soon as you land kathmadu, maybe 2nd day. coz I didn't have enough time. I had 1 month. I went to embassy after 2 weeks. they told me If i want to renew my visa then I have to go through the whole procedure again, but again, the earliest interview date i could get was few days later my flight day. but they told me I can renew visa here in US too. But, I think going back at this time is certainly not the best choice. I see a very little probability that you come back. but, again it's on you if you can convince that your graduation is soon to come and blah blah. hope this helps.
