before I start my rantings let me just mention that I AM NOT A ROYALIST neither AM I FAN OF GYANENDRA or HIS SON PARAS. personally i always thought KP Bhattarai to be a drunkard who lost his first election to MK Bhandari because of his own stupidness ... anyway leaving all these aside. when i read his comment in NEPALNEWS. i was not only shocked in disbelief but I HAVE CHANGED MY OPINION ABOUT HIM. finally, i know/realize that no one will listen to him and his comments. but he did have a courage. I TRULY ADMIRE HIM NOWWWWW!!!!!! not because of his support of monarchy et. al. but simple fact... " WE CANNOT CHANGE OUR HISTORY AND WE CANNOT FORGET ALL THE CONTRIBUTION " nepal ma ni rahechhan people who actually think about the PAST and WHERE WE CAME FROM AND WHAT CONTRIBUTION SHAH DYNASTY HAS/HAVE in our existence. KP Bhattarai was the LAST PERSON i would have thought who would come out and EXPRESS his TRUE SENTIMENT. personal note: i think whatever MONARCHY might remind of us .. but they have/had contributed something notable. ITS PART OF OUR HISTORY and WE SHOULD NOT TRY TO ACTUALLY TRY TO DESTROY ALL THE ARTIFACTS. simple assertion in the end: if we were not involved in POLITICS. which regime was better 1. PANCHYAT 2. after 1990 3. period between 2000 to 2002 4. period between 2002 to 2006 5. 2007 onwards ... (O: i certainly think that PANCHYAT was better. NO OFFENSE. once again. this is my personal view. i was in school and till 1990 i never had a day off .. and always wished that school would close so that I do not have to do my assignment (O: hehe he but anyway... 1990 to 1994 ... lot of closures ... and i liked it.. no assignments.. holidays. but when i look back.. now a days.. its NEPAL BANDH almost every month.. he he he (O: what will those poor kids be doing @ school or for that matter colleges or universities..... students are PHDs (pile high deep shit ) in politics.. and no respect for education.
