If I (a US Green Card holder) take a round ticket from New York to Nepal, when I come back, am I authorised to exchange Nepali currency and bring back US dollars in travellers cheque? If not, if I just take a one way trip to Nepal and when I come back by purchasing a ticket from Kathmandu, am I authorised to exchange Nepali currency and bring back US dollars in travellers cheque? I would be very grateful if any of you folks here could provide me with advice on this issue.
